I'm Naina — a film director, brand storyteller, and visual artist with over 8 years of experience spanning narrative cinema, brand films, music videos, and feature film production.

I built my career in India's independent film industry — directing projects, working as Associate Creative Director on Netflix features, producing music videos that crossed 1M+ views, and developing VFX-driven visual worlds. I also write — I'm the author of a novel, which means I understand story architecture from the inside out.

That cross-discipline experience — cinema + branding + writing + VFX — is what I bring to every brand film I make. Not just a director for hire. A storyteller who understands what your audience needs to feel before they act.

The Art of Forgetting

As the characters swim in a sea created by their own emotions, only the strongest can breathe — the rest just float. What is a man without his memories but a constellation in the sky?

Ira loses her dead mother's body. Sameer loses his memories. Noor loses her will. Three lives bound together by forgetfulness — the one art they have all mastered, and the one art slowly destroying them.

Set against the backdrop of Benaras, this debut novel moves in loops of past and present — a mystery, a family drama, and an emotional reckoning all woven into one. Naina also designed all the illustrations in the novel herself — one more dimension of her storytelling.

An animation artist, screenwriter, and filmmaker — Naina has always been influenced by films and stories. Vismriti is where all of it converged.
